First off, I didn't intend to type the title of this post backwards. The blog editor did that all by itself.

Moving along. I'm proud of this new single, things undone! It's a story. Better yet, it's a ghost story. It's also a bit of a murder ballad.

I've always loved ghost stories. I don't know why it took me so long to figure out how to write them into song! Now I'm hooked. I've already written a few more.

It's wonderful to me that I carry a song around for a while like so many pieces in a sack. I witness those pieces come together right off my lips and the tips of my fingers, sometimes with great focus and intention, other times with a seemingly absent mind. What's even more amazing is the feeling I get when I presume a song to be complete only to reimagine it in some way. Here's one like that.

Man, I love writing songs.

Maybe I should have tried to make all these songs fit into the same box, but they divided so nicely into two separate, five song releases. Come Find Me When the World Ends is a bit darker and slower than Peace with God. Download them here, and check out new designs in the store.
